Long Kesh -Maze Prison 1981- MARCH 1 - Sands prisoner & an Irish Republican Army soldier
has started hunger strike.He drew his last breath on MAY 1 of same year.He started the hunger strike for obtaining status of a political prisoner.On the flip side was the Iron Lady Thacther declaring in her high pitched voice slightly irritating."crime is crime and its not political".Sands and his 10 fellow mates met death slowly but with resoluteness.
2013 FEB - GUANTANAMO - Prisoners started hunger strike.166 detainees is still lingering in hope of return.They are the worst suffered human life in earth with pain they underwent during interrogation.Mr President had promised closing of GUANTANAMO is a year away in 2009.
86 prisoners who has set free by the court has lost the hope of return as the promises vanished in to thin air.They die of accepted hunger .
Mrs .Thatcher could have accepted the plea of prisoners but doesn't want to accept it , Mr. Obama would like to accept the demands of prisoners but cannot ,such is the political pressure on him.His real intentions lost in maze of disputes in congress.
The echoes of pain is slowly reciding .They will not disturb us any more.
Just pray ,Like we always do when we cannot do any thing.
